My dad almost committed suicide when he was in 11th grade in India. Every day he was bullied by the a group of 5 kids. They threw his books into the mud, shoved him into walls, and spread cruel rumors about him. Today, he is one of the most liked professors at MIT, having gotten the job after he went to Stanford. He has a wife who he has been married to for 26 years, and two kids, a son and a daughter. Every night he comes into our rooms and tells us that we are thank you for making him positive that he made the right decision in not ending his life. Don't give up hope. The best is yet to come.
